Design and develop Rust-based software applications that interact with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Rust crates that you will use often, include but are not limited to: ethers-rs, Alloy-rs, jsonrpsee, Reth
Prepare detailed technical specifications(we love diagrams and flowcharts) and contribute to the development of our product roadmap.
Conduct thorough technical due diligence on the latest tech stacks.
As open-source maxis, we encourage your contributions to open-source projects and participation in open-research communities, by giving talks, publishing articles, or participating hackathons. We will help you find the platforms.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Rust and 1-2 years of experience working with the EVM (skills will be tested).
Deep understanding of the EVM transaction pipeline. Familiarity with concepts such as MEV, PFOF, and block building is essential.
Intermediate level Solidity(you won’t be writing Solidity much, but you need to be able to reason about EVM opcodes).
Proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts efficiently through both written and verbal communication (this will be heavily emphasized during the interview process).
Comprehensive understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including but not limited to, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, tokenomics, and various blockchain platforms.
Demonstrable experience in technical research, including problem identification, resource gathering, synthesis of information, and effective communication of findings.
